Upon receiving the distress call, a vigilant police party from Kulgam, under the leadership of IC PC DK Marag, immediately mobilized.
Despite the slippery roads caused by recent snowfall, the team successfully reached the location.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, they efficiently evacuated the pregnant woman to the nearby DK Marag hospital in an official vehicle.
An official source mentioned that the inaccessible location made it impossible for regular vehicles or ambulance services to reach the lady in distress.
The locals, particularly the family members of the pregnant woman, expressed their gratitude and admiration for Kulgam Police.
