
In response to a prolonged surge in unemployment across Jammu Kashmir, Social Welfare, Health, and Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced plans to expedite the recruitment process for vacant posts across various departments.
Amid years of rising joblessness, the government aims to tackle the crisis by filling essential positions in the Health and Education sectors.
Speaking with reporters, Itoo emphasized that the administration has already referred numerous vacancies to the Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (SSRB) and other recruitment agencies.
She reiterated the government’s commitment to creating employment for 100,000 young people, stating, “Our goal is to address these vacancies swiftly to meet the employment needs of the region’s youth.”
Highlighting her dedication to addressing local issues, Itoo also extended Diwali greetings, wishing for peace and prosperity in J-K as the government works to alleviate the pressing unemployment situation.
