A woman from Hillar, Anantnag, identified as Asifa, daughter of Bashir Ahmed Teeli, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Gund Hassi Bhat area of Srinagar.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
According to sources, Asifa had been missing for the past few days, and her family had filed a complaint seeking her whereabouts.
During the investigation, police traced her to Srinagar, where her body was discovered.
A senior police officer said, “We are looking into all possible angles, and the cause of death will be determined after a thorough investigation.”
The incident has raised concerns, and authorities have assured that all necessary steps will be taken to uncover the truth.
