In order to boost health and dynamism of the young budding generation, Shaheed Altaf Memorial Government Degree College kilem organised a road-race for students of the College many students took part in the race. Student participants started racing from GDC Kilem to Akhran crossing.
The run was flagged off by college worthy Principal Ms Dilruba Rasool in presence Of Additional Deputy commissioner Mr.Showkat Ahmad Rather along with other senior faculty members of the college.

A good number of students participated in the event Faizan khursheed bagged the first. They were awarded trophies while as the remaining participants were given certificates.
The participants were received by the worthy Principal of the College along with his team of teaching faculty and the non-teaching staff. The reception-cum-award distribution ceremony took place inside the College premises.
The worthy Principal of the College distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winners. Finally, the worthy Principal of the College thanked all the departments for their co-operation in the smooth conduct of the race especially district administration, police and health departments.
