The Government Forces on Thursday launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that 52 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in Tarzoo area of Sopore.
Following a specific input about Militant movement, the forces sealed all the entry and exit points to the area.
A search operation was going on in the area when this report was filed.
