
One more civilian has been shot dead in the Kashmir valley on Tuesday evening, taking the toll of civilian causalities to number three on Tuesday..
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a civilian identified as Mohammed Shafi Lone was shot at by unknown gunmen in the Shahgund area of Hajin in Bandipora district, resulting into his on-spot death.
The forces have reached the area and cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
A Hospital official speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Mohammed Shafi alais Sonu was brought dead to the hospital. They said that Sonu was the president of Sumo drivers Association Naidkhai in Bandipora.
Earlier a chemist M L Bindro, 68 at his shop at around 7 pm near Iqbal Park, Srinagar.
Later, a non-local was shot dead by unknown persons near the Lal Bazar area of Srinagar.
