A cloudburst has reportedly occurred near Amarnath cave on Wednesday afternoon, official sources said.
They told GNS that soon after the incident an alert was sounded and approximately 4,000 pilgrims were shifted safely, by the rescue teams deployed in and around the site.
“The situation is under control as of now”, they added.
