Another encounter breaks out in Doda

A Gunfight has started between militants and security forces in Bhalesa area of Doda on Wednesday.

A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir scroll that exchange of fire between militants and joint team of forces has started after search operation was started on specific inputs about the presence of terrorists.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, the officer said.

Meanwhile a top police officer also confirmed Kashmir Scroll about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.

Earlier on Wednesday, Five Army troopers and Special Police Officer of police were injured after a nocturnal Gunfight Broke Out between militants and security forces in Chattargala area or Doda district

In another encounter, two militants and one CRPF man were killed in an operation in Saida Sohal Hiranagar area of Kuthua district on Wednesday evening.
