An encounter has started between militants and Government forces in the Gasu near Shalimar area of Srinagar, Police said on Monday.
On its official twitter handle, Jammu Kashmir Police said,”Another #encounter started at Gasu near Shalimar area of #Srinagar. Police and CRPF are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier, a top commander of Lashkar e Taiba, Saleem Parray, a resident of Hajin Bandipora area was killed during an encounter in the same area.
