Another girl jumps into Jhelum in north Kashmir

A girl on Saturday jumped into the river Jhelum in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district even as a search and rescue operation has been launched.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that following the incident, a rescue team including police immediately rushed to the spot and launched searches.

He said a search operation to trace the girl was going on—(KNO)

Earlier on 12 December, A 17-year-old girl jumped into the river Jhelum in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
