Not more than a month after a journalist was shot dead in front of his two daughters in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, yet another journalist in Uttar Pradesh has been killed in the BJP-led state.
Ratan Singh, working with a Hindi news channel was on shot dead by unknown gunmen on Monday night in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh.
Ratan Singh, was killed in the Fefana area of the Balia district on Monday, the police said, who also linked his killing to a family dispute, a claim that was refuted by the family as baseless and False.
“Ratan Singh, a journalist working with a Hindi news channel was shot dead on Monday night in Phephana. He has been identified as Ratan Singh (45). We are investigating the case,” Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Yadav said, as per news reports.
” The investigation is underway. All accused will be arrested soon,” SP Devendra Nath said.
