An Indian army trooper has gone missing from his home in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A family member speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that on Saturday evening, Army man identified as Javed Ahmed Wani, aged 25, had come back home on leave, was kidnapped from his vehicle bearing the number JK18N 7201.
Javed Ahmad wani son of Mohmmad Ayoub Wani reportedly posted at Leh district of Ladakh was at home since around 8 pm, when he went to his home in Chawalgam to buy some food items.
It is pertinent to mention here that he reportedly took a shortcut path from Ashthal which is surrounded by dense orchards.
When Javed did not return home, the family tried to find him everywhere but to no avail.
The family also filed a missing report, following which forces have launched massive search operations to trace him.
