Army vehicle meets accident in Kulgam: One trooper dead, nine injured

An Army vehicle belonging to the 9 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) overturned near the hospital at DH Pora in Kulgam.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 PM on Friday night.

According to officials who spoke to The Kashmiriyat, one Army personnel lost his life on the spot, while nine others sustained injuries.

The injured trrooers were immediately rushed to BB Cant Hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Their condition remains under medical evaluation.

An official, speaking to The Kashmiriyat, confirmed the accident and expressed condolences for the deceased soldier’s family. Further details about the cause of the accident are awaited.
