Around 120 houses damaged in windstorm in Kulgam

Nearly 120 houses suffered damage in Kulgam due to massive windstorm that swept across South Kashmir on Saturday.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that around 119 houses incurred minor or partial damage in the Kulgam district.

The houses that were damaged were in Damhal Hanjipora, Pahloo and Devsar Tehsils of the south Kashmir districts due to today’s gusty winds.

Meanwhile, a team of officials including Tehsildars, along with their teams, promptly reached the spot to assess the situation.
