The Joint Resistance Leadership on Tuesday called for a complete shutdown on February 13 and 14 when pleas on article 35-A are scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court.
The JRL comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said that people of Jammu Kashmir will forcefully resist every challenge by New Delhi to change the demography of the State.
“Leadership is fully aware of the developments and is cautiously observing the situation and these tactics cannot deceive leadership or the people of Kashmir. It is an extremely critical issue of the our very existence as a people and of our disputed status.”
