As Kupwara-Karnah road remains closed for vehicular movement due to heavy snowfall, several patients and JKSSB aspirants are waiting to get airlifted from snow-bound Karnah for treatment and examination respectively.
The aggrieved residents told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that many patients and JKSSB aspirants are waiting to get airlifted from snow-bound Karnah as the only road link, connecting them with district headquarters remains closed due to heavy snowfall.
They said that today 3 patients were air-lifted along with two attendants to district headquarters for medical attention, however, many patients are still waiting to get airlifted to get medical attention.
They said that the administration was not paying any heed to their repeated pleas, while the residents continue to suffer in view of the closure of road.
They also said that many job aspirants who are supposed to appear in JKSSB examination are also waiting to get airlifted so that they can appear in the examination. (KNS)
