Polling began on for the third phase of Lok Sabha Elections on Tuesday for the largest phase of Lok Sabha election in 116 seats, including all constituencies in Gujarat and Kerala, with BJP president Amit Shah, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and several Union Ministers among prominent candidates in the fray.
Besides all seats in Gujarat (26) and Kerala (20), voting will be held in four seats in Anantnag, Assam, five seats in Bihar, seven in Chhattisgarh, 14 each in Karnataka and Maharashtra, six in Odisha, 10 in Uttar Pradesh, five in West Bengal, two in Goa, and one each in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Tripura.
In the South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district voting will be held for the Anantnag Lok Sabha seat, where election is being held in three phases.
About 18.56 crore voters are eligible for voting in this phase and the Election Commission has set up 2.10 lakh polling booths/stations and has made elaborate security arrangements.

1045 AM: In Ashajipora belt, out of 3485- 12 have casted their votes, in Kanelwan 1 vote has been cast, in Shirpora out of 1580, 23 people have votes so far, in Magraypora, three people have cast their votes.
1050 AM: At Guroo Adar in three polling stations, out of 2700 voters. only 33 Votes have been polled so far.
11:30 AM: Overall poll percentage in Anantnag parliamentary constituency till 11:30 am, Kokernag 2.56%, Dooru 1.49%, Shangus 1.53%, Anantnag 1%, Bejbehara 1%, Pahalgam 1.90%.
11:55 AM: A total of 13, 524 voters have cast their votes out of 1,80,000 total voters.in Shangus 4519 people have cast their votes out of a total 88000 electorates, In Kokernag out of 92000, a total of 9005 people have cast their votes so far, in Dooru, 3700 people have cat their votes out of a total of 78,684 voters.
12:10 PM: In 7 areas of Islamabad township 39 votes have been polled out of 4504, in Hazratbal A 3 votes have been polled out of 605, in Hazratbal B 1 out of 605, in Hazratbal C 11 out 615, in Sheerpora payeen 12 out of 1066, in Khabazar 4 out of 724, in Malakhnag A 7 out 784, in Malakhnag B 1 out of 710.
Locals of Brinty Dialgam allegged that government forces entered inside several households and vandalized property worth tens of thousands, after clashes had erupted in the area.
However people in Luk Bhawan Fatehpora, Damhal khashipora and Hokhru, comming out in large numbers to poll their votes.

0325 PM: Second death while standing in a Queue
A 46-year-old tribal woman collapsed while standing in a queue to cast her vote in Raigarh Lok Sabha constituency in Chhattisgarh and later died at a hospital, police said.
