An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Jammu Kashmir died due to cardiac arrest in Police Station Gund area of central Kashmiri’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that Abdul Gani Naikoo son of Late Ghulam Rasool Naikoo belt number 46/Spn R/o Kanilwan Bijbehara fell unconscious after complaining of chest pain while performing his duty.
He was shifted to PUC Gund where from doctors referred him to SKIMS, the premier hospital of the Kashmir valley.
At SKIMS, the doctors declared him brought dead.
