On Sunday, two women living in a rented room were rushed to the hospital after they fell unconscious of suffocation.
Reports suggest that two Central University female students – Ziyaan (23), daughter of Ghulam Chowdhary Kali, resident of Poonch and Shabnaz (23), daughter of Mumtaz Ahmed Khan from Poonch were found unconscious at a rented room in Ganderbal.
Both had rented a room at Saloora, Ganderbal. The room is owned by Mr. Riyaz Ahmed Wani, son of Ali Mohammed of Saloora.
Both the girls were found unconscious in the room, after which they were rushed to the District Hospital, Ganderbal, where the doctor declared one of them – Shabnaz as dead.
Ganderbal hospital authorities told The Kashmiriyat that the condition of Ziyaan is stable.
