At least 15 persons have been injured in the massive clashes that erupted in the areas nearby the encounter site at Kiloora in South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that people in droves of hundreds and thousands came out of their homes throwing stones on troops deployed in the area.
The troops fired tear smoke shells and pellets go disperse the protesters, both women and men. “They also fired on protesters to disperse them,” a local told The Kashmiriyat.
Hospital officials at Shopian District hospital and PHC Zainapora confirmed that they have received at least 15 Injured people.
They said they are being treated at the hospitals.
Meanwhile 5 Militants have been killed in the gunfight that raged late night on Friday in the Kiloora Shopian Area.
