At least four cowsheds were damaged in a massive blaze at the Tulbagh area of Shangus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday four cow-sheds belonging to Abdul Majeed Khan and Mohammed Rafiq Khan, sons of Mohammed Ayoub Khan, were gutted in a massive fire mishap.
They said that fire tenders along with locals and Police tried to control the fire, however, when the fire was brought under control, dour sheds had been gutted.
A pet dog was also charred to death during the blaze, they told The Kashmiriyat.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained, an official said.
