The health department, under the supervision of CMO Baramulla and BMO Pattan, organised an awareness cum screening camp on Diabetes and non-communicable diseases at Government HSS, Pattan.
Reportedly, many students, as well as people, participated in the awareness camp, where they were made aware about the said diseases.
The screening of people was also conducted during the camp including random blood sugar tests.
Screening cum awareness camp was organised with the aim to create awareness among people about NCD, which are rapidly increasing around the country and rest of the world.
The COVID-19 vaccination were also held for unvaccinated people and people were requested to follow COVID-19 SOPs.
Meanwhile, CMO Baramulla, SDM Pattan, SDPO Pattan, BMO Pattan, Principal HSS Pattan, and other officers were present in this camp.
