
The Balidan Stambh, a memorial dedicated to government forces personnel who died in the line of duty, will be officially opened in Srinagar’s Pratap Park on August 15.
This announcement was made by Dr. Owais Ahmad, Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, on Tuesday.
Dr. Ahmad confirmed, “We had pledged to complete the Balidan Stambh by August 15, and it is now ready. We encourage everyone to visit and honor these great heroes.”
According to Kashmir News Corner (KNC), there will be no entry fee to visit the memorial. The project, which cost ₹4.8 crore, will have all necessary arrangements in place by August 15.
