Massive Firing has restarted between Militants and Government Forces in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Thrsday afternoon/
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 52 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Police and CRPF had jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation today morning.
During the operation, The holed up Militants fired on the forces triggering a Gunfight, 2 Local Militants were initially believed to be trapped in the area, sources told The Kashmiriyat.
Earlier Reports said that two Militants had been killed in the gunfight, however after conducting search operations in the area, no dead bodies were found.
An hour later, the forces triggered an IED Blast at the site of the encounter after which massive firing resumed, Sources said.
The exchange of gunfire was on when this report was filed.
