North Kashmir’s Baramulla district has shut down for the second consecutive day on Friday to mourn the recent militant killings.
The Kashmiriyat reporter from Baramulla, Shabir Khan reported that all shops and business establishments are shut in the town while roads are wearing a deserted look.
Thee Lashkar militants were killed on Wednesday in the outskirts of Baramulla district in a gunfight with government forces.
The slain were identified as Suhaib Farooq Akhoon, son of Farooq Ahmad Akhoon, a resident of Khanpora Baramulla; Mohsin Mushtaq Bhat, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Qazi Hamam Baramulla; Nasir Ahmad Darzi, son of Mohammad Amin Darzi, a resident of Sangrampora Batpora Sopore, at present in Jamia Qadeem Baramulla.
