A bike rider died in a road accident in the Pantha Chowk area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district Srinagar on Monday.
An official told the news agency— Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place in Zaffron Colony Pantha Chowk in which a truck bearing registration number JK01A 4711 hit and injured a biker rider.
He said that the bike rider was shifted to the hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries. He has been identified as Mohammad Sadiq Awan son of Sanaullah Awaan resident of Salamabad Uri in Baramulla district.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation—(KS)
