Hitting out at the Bhartiya Janta party, the vice president of Jammu Kashmir National Conference Omar Abdullah has said that the BJP has no guts to field any candidates in the Kashmir valley.
Speaking to a rally in Kulgam, Omar Abdullah on Monday said that the BJP has no guts to contest any Lok Sabha seat in the Kashmir valley. “If they win any seats in Kashmir, I will quit politics, let them at least contest,” Omar Abdullah had said.
He also spoke about the importance of the Article 370 and said it was under this article that Kashmiris were given special access to their lands by Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah.
Meanwhile, Ifra Jan the party’s additional spokesperson speaking to the media last week said that the BJP had no courage to even contest which proves that their hardwork in Kashmir has turned futile. “They have left their A and B teams and are planning to support them, but they will suffer a humiliating defeat,” said Ifra.
Omar Abdullah, addressing the rally in Kulgam on Monday said that the BJP and its allies were not even in the competition on Anantnag-Rajouri seat. “We do not even consider them to be in the competition. Our only fight is against the PDP,” said Omar Abdullah.
Reports, meanwhile suggest that the Bhartiya Janta Party may not field any candidates in Ladakh Lok Sabha seat.
