The former chief minister of Jammu Kashmir and president of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that her party is being targeted for taking an Anti-BJP stance.
Speaking to the press she said, “BJP has created a troublesome situation in Jammu Kashmir. Without any evidence, Young people are getting arrested and with passing days, the tag of ‘hybrid militant’, ‘associate militant’ ‘white-collar’ militant is becoming prominent. No one is free to speak the truth. Not even journalists have been spared. From Sajjad Gul to Fahad shah, Journalists are being put behind the bars.”
She further said, “The PDP is a party that speaks out against oppression and denounces BJP’s ideology. They just want to tell the world that everything is fine in Jammu Kashmir and there is normalcy everywhere when in reality they have made it hell and graveyard, Where there is silence, of course, but these people are buried alive.”
