A BJP worker was critically injured when suspected militants shot at him in Ompora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The injured man was identified as Abdul Hamid Najar son of Late Mohammad Jamal Najar from Mehendipora, Ompora area of Budgam District.

Talking to media, a Police Official said, “militants fired upon him near railway station Ompora when he was on a morning walk, leaving him critically injured.”
He has been shifted to SMHS for further treatment.
