The recently framed “Sopore Youth Forum” today organised a Blood donation camp at SDH Sopore in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir.
During the camp, collected blood has been deposited in the blood bank and can be donated free of charge to needy people.
About 30 units of blood were donated during this camp in which various volunteers and “Sopore Youth Forum” members also participated and donated their valuable blood. The doctors and para-medical staff of the sub-district hospital assisted this camp.
To organize this blood donation camp, BMO Sopore and the hospital management have supported them in this charity work.
On this occasion the president of “Sopore Youth Forum” Nisar Ahmad Bhat, alias ‘Raj Bhat’ Said “Our single drop of blood can save precious lives, so we should participate in such programmes for the safeguard of humanity.”
“Everyone should come forward and donate blood for this noble cause to increase the blood capacity in the health system,” he added.
