The dead body of a seventeen-year-old youth was found in the Kunzer area of Baramulla district’s Tangmarg area.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning, locals spotted an unknown body near the Ferozpora nallah in the Kunzer area after which Police was called to the spot.
Police recovered the body and after proper verification, the deceased was identified as Shakir Ahmed Dar
son of Ali Mohammed Dar, a resident of Baniyar Bandipora.
Locals, meanwhile, said that the teenager was studying a local seminary in Srinagar and had told people at the seminary that he was going to the market for some work on Wednesday evening.
Shakir did not return to the seminary creating panic among fellow students and teachers, who had reported the matter to the Police station.
Police has registered a case in this regard and taken his body to the hospital for post-mortem.
