A young boy lost his life on Saturday in Doda, when he drowned away in Neru Nallah near Hyundai showroom Pul in Chenab Valley’s Doda district.
A Police official speaking to The Kashmiriyat identified the drowned youth as Waris Alam son of Sajad Ahmed Sheikh a resident of Bun area in Doda.
As soon as, news spread in the area, people rushed to the spot and launched a massive rescue operation to retrieve the dead body.
Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
