The middle portion of the bridge in between Chawalgam and Chanser collapsed on a canal on Friday morning.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the bridge collapsed when a truck was crossing it and the vehicle was stuck in the broken portion of the bridge.
The bridge connects various areas with district headquarters in the South Kashmir district of kulgam.
The local appeals to higher authorities to repair this bridge as soon as possible.
