A teenager was allegedly killed by his elder brother for refusing to get bread for dinner from a shop located near their house in Mahim.
The Incident took place on Wednesday when the elder brother, Imran Sayed, 24, an electrician, reached his home at Mumbai after work at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday to find that there was no bread for dinner, reports said.
He then asked his younger brother, 18-year-old Irfan, to go to a nearby shop and get bread for him.
Irfan refused to step out of the house and retorted that Imran should get the bread himself.
This led to an argument between the two, which soon turned ugly with Imran beating up Irfan.
“Their parents, who were also at home, tried to stop the duo. But Imran didn’t relent and kept hitting his brother,” a Police official told the Media.
As Irfan fell on the ground, Imran allegedly strangled Irfan.
Soon, foam started coming out from Irfan’s mouth and he became unconscious.
The family then rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
