Two Government Force personnel have been killed in a grenade attack by suspected Militants in the Padrech area of Ganderbal in Central Kashmir.
A Police official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that Militants hurled a grenade injuring two BSF men patrolling the road in Pandrach area, and also snatched their weapons.
These BSF men were immediately rushed to SKIMS hospital in Srinagar, however, one of them succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, while another one who was in a critical condition and being treated at the hospital, has too succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Rana Madawal and Zia ul Haq of 37 Battalion of Border Security Force.
Meanwhile, the government forces have cordoned off the area and a manhunt has been launched to nab to the attackers.
