Budgam police have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 101 KGS of Poppy Straw.

During the search of the vehicle, 12 bags of poppy straw weighing 101 KGS were found and one person identified as Mohd Yaseen Dar S/o Abdul Ahad Dar R/o Sholipora, Budgam was arrested.
A preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the caught drug peddler was supplying drugs to the youth in the surrounding area.
A case FIR No. 302/2020 has been registered in PS Budgam.
