Burglars on Saturday looted the Kalvi Dhar Gurudwara in Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar and decamped with the cash and other valuable items from the donation box of the holy gurduwara.
An official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that a Police team jeaded by the station house officer in Rajbagh Nagar after being informed about the incident reached there at Gurdwara, and found the lock at the entrance broken.
A Forensic lab was also taken to the venue by the Jammu Kashmir Police, officials said.
A sikh who is a Jawahar Nagar local said taht burglars looted a cash of around 2 lakh rupees and other valuables.
Efforts are being made to trace the men behind the crime, a Police official said.
