Burglars loot the Famous Shrine of Dastgeer Sahab in Srinagar

Unknown burgulars for the second time in less than three days struck at a shrine in Kashmir and decamped with cash from the donation box.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday the famous shrine of Sufi saint locally known as Dastgeer Sahab was attacked by burglars who decamped with cash and other valuables from the donation box.

It was, only after, people came out for pre dawn prayers, that it was found that burglars had looted the donation box.

Meanwhile team of Jammu Kashmir police has reached the spot and are investigating the whole matter.

Pertinently, earlier during this week burglars’ looted a Shrine in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
