Minor Clashes erupted in Nowdal Area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District Sunday on the Second anniversary of Slain Hizb commander, Burhan Wani.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth shouting pro Freedom and Pro Burhan Slogans appeared on the roads in an attempt to defy the curfew.
The Government Forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells and pellets to disperse the youth.
However the youth in large numbers retaliated with immense stone throwing, the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
A Complete shutdown amid strict restrictions is being observed in the Kashmir valley on the second death anniversary of slain Hizb ul Mujahideen Commander, Burhan Wani.
The Tral area- native of slain Burhan Wani has been placed under strict curfew and the entry points to Tral have been sealed by the Government Forces.
Railway Services and Mobile Internet across the Kashmir valley has been shut by Administration as a “Precautionary Measure.”
