Two Places in Islamabad District have been sieged by Government Forces following specific inputs about Militant presence in the areas.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 19 RR of Indian Army 164 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police laid a cordon and search operation in Mir Maidan area of Dooru in South Kashmir’s Islamabad District.
The entry and exit points to Mir Maidan have been sealed.
Another CASO has been launched at Harpora in Sirigufwara area of Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
A door to door search operation has been launched by 3 RR of Indian Army, 96 Batllion of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police.
Both the search operations were going on when this report was filed.
