
The Government Forces on Tuesday afternoon launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Bomai area of Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched jointly by forces including 22 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Sopore area.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Tuesday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
