Massive Clashes erupted in the Arihal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Friday afternoon after Government Forces launched a cordon and Search Operation in the operation in the area.
A Cordon and Search Operation had been launched in South Kashmir by Government forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police.
As Soon as the forces entered the area, the youth hit the streets in large numbers to which the forces responded by immense tear smoke shelling.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat said that the operation has been launched after an input was received about Militant presence in the area.
The Search operation was going on as the entry and exit points have been sealed the Arihal area.
