On Wednesday, the Government Forces have launched an Anti Militancy operation in Arwani area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.
The Cordon and Search operation was launched in the area following a tip off about Militant Movement in the area by Forces.
RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police is jointly conducting the operation, Sources said adding that a search operation has begun in the area.
Meanwhile reports suggested that clashes have erupted in the area.
