The Government Forces on Thursday afternoon launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in Arwani area of Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports reaching The Kashmirityat said that a joint team of Army, CRPF and Search operation group (SOG) of Jammu Kashmir Police conducted searches in the Arwani area of Anantnag town.
An official said, following inputs about the militant movement a joint team of Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police, and CRPF launched search operations in the area.
Meanwhile searches in the area were going on when this report was being filed.
