The security forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Bus Stand and its adjoining areas in Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, CRPF, SOG Sopore, and police laid the CASO at Bus Stand and its adjoining areas following suspicious movement of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, SSP Sopore confirmed to KNO that the area has been cordoned off and door to door searches are being conducted—(KNO)
