Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Hassanpora area of Arwani in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
On the afternoon of Saturday, the forces including RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Arwani area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Islamabad (Anantnag) area locality and are conducting a search operation in the area.
Youth hit the streets as soon as troops launched a joint operation, Shouting Pro Freedom and Pro Militancy slogans, the youth hit the streets throwing stones on Government Forces.
