A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in Seepan area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Wednesday noon.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the cordon has been launched in the area by Government forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police.
The official said that the operation has been launched after an input was received about Militant presence in the area.
The Search operation was going on as the entry and exit points have been sealed the Seepan area.
