Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Budroo area of Yaripora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
On Tuesday morning, the forces including 9 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Budroo area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Yaripora locality and are conducting a search operation in the area.
Youth hit the streets as soon as troops launched a joint operation, Shouting Pro Freedom and Pro Militancy slogans, the youth hit the streets throwing stones on Government Forces.
The troops fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesting youth, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
