Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Moominabad locality of Ashajipora area in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that Late afternoon on Sunday, the forces including 19 RR of Indian Army, 40 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police launched a search operation at the Moominabad area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Islamabad town locality and are conducting a search operation in the area.
