Massive clashes have erupted during a Cordon and search operation in Astan Mohallah of Quimoh area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Tuesday.
The Government forces have launched a siege around the area post which scores of youth shouting pro freedom slogans hit the streets.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 1 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly.
“The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said.
A Door to door search operation has been launched in the area.
